Abram Arwood, PT, DPT, is a native of Gate City, VA, who now calls Kingsport home. With over a decade of experience, Abram’s become one of the most sought after physical therapists in the Tri-Cities. His clinical experience has included significant work with high school and college athletes, multiple national champions, Team USA athletes, MLB players, IronMan competitors, CrossFit Games Semifinalists, and more.

Abram’s written extensive post-operative rehab protocols and return to sport testing protocols for local surgeons while mentoring, teaching, and inspiring dozens of physical therapy students over the years. His unparalleled experience, clinical skills, ease of communication, and drive to deliver the best outcomes has made him the rehab provider of choice for many local physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and other physical therapists.

When he’s not treating patients, Abram is a devoted husband, loving father, doting dog dad, voracious reader, and amateur woodworker. He’s also a self-described “mediocre CrossFitter, solid volleyball player” with “an uncanny sense of humor.” Abram understands that he will almost never be somebody’s first physical therapist, but his goal is to be their last.
