Clinical Interests/Specializations:
Julie Young, PT, DPT, OCS, COMT, joined the Physio Lab team with over 30 years of experience practicing orthopedic physical therapy. Julie is passionate about providing quality, client-centered care for each of her patients. A lifelong athlete, Julie has played a wide variety of sports including softball for the University of Missouri and has several marathons on her resume, including Boston. Julie has an extraordinary understanding of athletes and their needs as they maintain a high level of activity.
She has worked with athletes at Maryville High School for a number of years including the Cross Country and Track and Field teams. In March 2024, Julie was awarded the Excellence in Clinical Practice Award from the TN Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association.
When she’s not working, Julie is often busy working out whether weightlifting, cycling, running, or in Barre classes. She loves spending time with friends enjoying coffee, and trying new recipes with her son, Seth.
